Asian Development Bank Review Mission led by Mission Leader Mr. Eisuke Tajima, Mr. Khuram Imtiaz, Mr. Alexander, Ms. Isabel, Ms. Zubaida and International TVET Consultant Mr. Josef visited Institute of Surgical Technology Sialkot, a Centre of Excellence under IWRPP operated by TEVTA to observe the start of L-II Classes. The delegation visited the labs and classroom and interacted with faculty and trainees. CBTA Surgical Technology Course is being run for the first time in Sialkot. The project has provided state of the art machinery & equipment to run the classes successfully. The faculty, teaching the courses was interviewed and selected by Board of Management. 

Project Director PIU-IWRPP Mr. Zohaib Mushtaq conducted the visit along with PD MIDC/IST Mr. Khurram Shahzad and Principal IST Mr. Faisal. The team appreciated the progress shown by IWRPP and it’s implementing partners TEVTA, PVTC and PSDA. It also commended the provision of day care center to encourage female faculty to join TVET and to increase enrolment of females.
