ADB mission visited the PIU-IWRPP office to discuss environmental safeguards and the Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM). The mission aimed to support the PIU’s environment and social safeguard team in finalizing the Site-Specific Environmental Management Plan, evaluating the GRM, and assessing overall environmental safeguard protocols. The Project Director of PIU-IWRPP, Mr. Zohaib Mushtaq, briefed the ADB mission on the best practices being implemented at the construction sites and the necessary measures adopted to protect the environment. The mission commended the PIU-IWRPP team for adhering to ADB’s rules and regulations throughout the project.
