Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, Secretary Industries, Commerce, Investment & Skills Development Department, chaired a progress review meeting of IWRP project at Project Implementation Unit office. He was updated on key project components, including status of civil work at COE construction sites, the rollout plan of market-based training, development of a single database management system, and monitoring of Build4Skills (B4S) initiative to gauge its utility.

He directed to implement the Gender Action Plan and Environment and Social Safeguard protocols under the project. Additionally, he directed to chalk out a plan to commence classes at VTI Rawalpindi, GCT (W) Lytton Road, and GCT Sahiwal, along with initiating CBTA based Level-III courses at COE IST Sialkot and COE CAMI Mian Channu. The meeting concluded with further briefing on project’s timelines and financials.

Project Director PIU, Mr. Zohaib Mushtaq, provided an overview of progress, bottlenecks, and achievements. Concerned directors and officers also participated, contributing to discussions on advancing the project’s objectives.
